Preventative Care
Getting ahead of what's coming, not waiting for it.
Anticipating, not just reacting.
Why prevention comes first
Too often, side effects are only treated once they have become a problem. I would rather get ahead of them. There are many moments in a health journey where a small, proactive step now prevents a bigger struggle later.
“That's the work: anticipating, not just reacting.”
In cancer care that means looking ahead at what a treatment plan is likely to bring, and putting support in place early. Outside of cancer care it means the same habit of mind: reviewing risk, planning ahead, and adjusting as life changes.
What this looks like
- • Anticipating side effects before they become a problem
- • Proactive steps that prevent bigger struggles later
- • Regular review as your treatment and needs change
- • Prevention-focused planning for long-term health
